Continuing in the same vein as my previous post…about my late great gran Bella, and her much troubled life around 1900 in Brighton in the UK. I had been studying her life in depth using ancestry.com Bella had become lost, she was the black sheep of her family, this is easy to see as the census gives it away. All her siblings were either workers or scholars and in the column it said so, not her, she had nothing next to her name. Neither was she an idiot, an imbecile or lunatic. Oh yes it’s all there. So I’m guessing she was just difficult. As she was born in 1877 on the Pluto / Uranus cycle it kind of fits that she would think outside the box, likely be difficult to handle/parent, etc. Her father was ‘the seed’ when these same two planets had come conjunct ( together) in the cosmos the generation before her, she was the opening square, where she gets to continue whatever he had seeded.
As astrologers know squares are challenging and a square between these two planets I can see has razed many of my ancestors to the ground and literally buried them – Pluto. She was no exception, she had one baby born 1898 just before these two planets opposed each other in the cosmos. That one a girl survived. Then a boy born 1900, he was born when Uranus was travelling retrograde but when he was two years old Uranus then turned direct and steamrolled over the Pluto and he died suddenly- as you may expect. That was whilst she was 8 months pregnant, the next baby- my gran- was born on the same Pluto /Uranus opposition that killed her brother. She carried the banner for the line now so to speak. Needless to say things for her were also very challenging. Likewise she also lost her firstborn son, but hers was to divorce. The father left her and took him at two years old. Not unlike her mother Bella who also lost her firstborn son to death. Her second marriage brought twins a girl and a boy – my dad. They were born in 1933 when the same two planets were making a closing square.
As you know reader boys in my line don’t seem to fare so well. My father was carrying a lot of unfulfilled desires, repressed emotions and suchlike as he was the only surviving male in our line. The last one – Bella’s husband had spent 18 years in the asylum, alleged insane. My father who was born on the Pluto Uranus closing square in 1933 had committed suicide when Uranus opposed his birth Uranus position ( which squared the Pluto) . It is easy to read in his chart how this had transpired and how hindsight (and astrology) is a wonderful thing. But before he died he had fathered two girls. I was lucky enough to be born in 1966 on the conjunction of these same two planets YET AGAIN. So I carry the banner. These two big outside planets have come full circle and it is my turn to set plenty of healthy, strong seeds.
